Welcome to Registration Code City, a celebration of the harmony between humans and the Expo Logic waiting room.
In order to enter the Expo Logic waiting room, every eligible attendee will need their own personal registration code. Personal registration codes help prevent ineligible members and purple-eyed Aipoms from entering the Expo Logic waiting room.
To locate your registration code and Expo Logic waiting room link, you won’t need a world class detective! Simply logging in to your Comic-Con Member ID account and selecting the “Registration Info” tab is your best bet. The link and your registration code have also been sent to you via email.
The Expo Logic waiting room will open for registration code authorization at 8:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on October 12, 2019. You don’t need to arrive exactly at 8:00 AM PDT, so go catch a Cubone and arrive 10 – 15 minutes prior to 9:00 AM PDT. But be warned – the waiting room will close promptly at 9:00 AM PDT and if you do not enter your code in time, Mr. Mime will put up an invisible wall and you will be shut out.
Shortly after 9:00 AM PDT (following numerous cups of coffee with an extra shot), Expo Logic will begin randomly moving members from the waiting room to a registration session. Regardless of what time you entered the waiting room, you may or may not be selected for a registration session.
If you are accidentally removed from the Expo Logic waiting room or temporarily lose connectivity because Haunter unplugged your computer, don’t fret! As long as you entered the Expo Logic waiting room prior to 9:00 AM PDT, you can return using the waiting room link and re-enter your registration code. Removal from the waiting room will not impact your chances of being randomly selected for a registration session.
Your personal registration code will only authorize one device and one browser to enter the waiting room. Please do not attempt to authorize your registration code on multiple browsers! If you do, the most recent device your registration code was entered on will become authorized and your previous device will be kicked out. If you and a friend will be using the same computer, use a different browser for each registration code. DO NOT use different tabs within the same browser.
We highly suggest only joining a buying group with Pokémon you know, like Psyduck and Snorlax (just make sure he’s awake!). Buying groups can be helpful, but we’ve seen an increasing number of people get shut out due to disorganized efforts and lack of communication. Once a Member ID is used in a registration session, it is locked for 15 minutes and you will not be able to use it if you are also selected for a registration session. Not even a powerful, man-made Pokémon will be able help!
Also, something very twisty: Your personal registration code is embedded in your waiting room URL. Do not post pictures of your waiting room or registration session online, or someone will be able to use your code to enter and your session will expire.
Additional details about registration codes and the Expo Logic waiting room can be found here.
